Bitcoin ATM Burglary At A Rise – 5000 And Still Counting

Unlike Bitcoin currency hacking, Bitcoin ATM robbery used to be uncommon. A certain incidence has come to our notice. Two masked thieves stole a Bitcoin ATM from a mall in Washington on Aug 3. The surveillance camera has caught them while carrying out the ATM machine in a van.

Violent raids targeting Bitcoin businesses and traders are becoming more common. In July, a  gang of masked men has raided a Bitcoin exchange in the English city of Birmingham. More than 5,000 Bitcoin ATMs around the world have reportedly been stolen as per June 2019 statistics.
